Roles & Responsibilities of Category Leader
- Own & Deliver a consumer centric assortment at the best value for the consumer in High Frequency Retail Environment
- Continuously bridge the gap between evolving consumer need and our portfolio
- Drive Margins by building Joint Business Plans with Supply Partners and implementing them by leading cross functional initiatives
- Manage P&L of respective categories taking into account acquisition, growth, retention and profitability targets
- Discover, Design, Validate and Implement strategic category initiatives to meet short term, medium term and long term company goals
- Lead GTM for new category introductions.
- Co-Create Consumer centric programs with innovators, supply partners and other digital enablers
- Address Non-Performing portfolio weed out
- Lead Cross Functional Initiatives to drive systemic capability to enable agile, lean and value oriented end to end supply chain
- Represent business needs in Marketing, Tech Development, and new Initiative forums
- Share real time data and analytics with operating functions and leadership to drive day-to- day performance towards meeting P&L goals
- Drive continuous improvement in quality metrics, NPS, help resolve consumer complaints, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate Business Planning and Prioritisation - play a consultative role for
- Leadership Team in shaping overall business strategy
- Lead Planogramming, Visibility and Promotion Strategies
