This is a place where you can be proud to work and do something that matters Role Description : The MPD Technical Packaging Leader is responsible to : - Packing SPOC for Contractors and Supplier within allocated Supply Chains - Raise documentation for new/complex initiatives. - Handle and coordinate qualifications for complex initiatives with minimum guidance. Has strong Technical Mastery skills in a broad field and is a guide in some complex areas. - Is a technical master, process owner + trainer for higher complex technologies/processes - Provides positive release for area of responsibilities - Attend DTM and Supply Network meetings as MPO group representative to strongly influence the business results - System owner of complex work processes driving improvements with minimal supervision. - Leads, coordinates and implements contractor/supplier development programs at is sites - Develops and implements complex cost saving proposals. - Can significantly impact on and has the accountability for delivering Packaging NSS. - Provides strong support to R&D to handle and influence the execution of complex projects - Investigates and resolves complex Packaging complaints/issues. - Independently able to conduct KEA 's for supplier - Conducts feasibility studies for complex projects - Coordinates artwork development and support system administration - Lead, coordinate and summarize Trade Surveys implementing resolutions to identified issues - Identifies and implement cost saving ideas within Supply Chain - Works as a mentor for new colleagues. Backup and support of MPO Leader - MQS System Owner SCOPE To provide technical packaging expertise for new initiatives, trouble shooting problems at Contractors and Suppliers and continuously improve quality and costs, meeting consumer's expectations. Strong leadership with clear emphasis on Process Improvements. QUALIFICATIONS : Job Skills/Qualifications : - Has in depth packaging knowledge and experience in materials and packing processes in a variety of technologies. - Advanced QA knowledge and consumer / customer needs understanding. Has an in-depth knowledge in procedures, can train others and improves processes. Can handle the CQV process independently. - Is process owner and resource to others, understanding of data analysis from diverse functions within the company. - Very in-depth understanding of computer software programs, data retrieval and manipulation. - Advanced English language skills. - Has in-depth analysis/problem solving skills and own area of responsibility. Solves problems on own initiative. Identifies important issues, thinks through alternatives. - Makes well reasoned conclusions and develops validated plan of action. Learns from success and failures. Raise problems as required. - Can lead quality incidents linked to Packaging. Experience and able to coach QI investigation and use of investigation tools. (e.g. Why-Why, fish bone). Able to reapply learning across the ESO contractors. - Energize and Engages to identify and delivery common goals. Identify and resolve packaging problems for owned contractors. Gets going and follows through on priorities. Overcome obstacles. Sets and meets goals. - Finds improved ways to get results. Strong SPOC and Owner of assigned Contractors. Lead packaging re-application and cost savings projects at contractors. - Qualify low / medium critical supplier Initiates improvements to work systems/processes beyond normal boundaries. Gets going on complex priorities. Overcome difficult obstacles. Exceeds goals. - Takes responsibility for improving results. The suppliers Find new improvement opportunities, find ways for better results within normal business processes. - Goes beyond the accepted ideas in supervised work areas. Display strong system ownership. Demonstrates integrity and high personal standards. - Works effectively with different people and has good business contacts internal and external. Builds and maintains productive working relationships which enable team effectiveness. - Has excellent writing skills and can develop complex verbal communication to represent own views with clarity and in an influential manner. - Fluent oral and written English languages skills. Able to motivate / persuade others to achieve common results. - Able to work across different cultures. Supervision on review of results. Completes own role without guidance. - Will advance issues on exception basis. Cost savings and priority settings during the 1:1 quarterly review 5 Rocks and Development Plan.
