- The purpose of this position is to support head accounts and finance, CFO and CEO for ensuring accurate reporting of key financials figures including variance analysis on a timely basis to local and group management for transparency and optimizing business decisions.

- The position involves detailed financial analysis, performance management and contributing in strategic decision with respect to viability of upcoming business proposals and for other business review. Also Representing customer from PLIPL finance front and dealing with customer on one to one basis.

- Plan and establish Internal Controls via Financial control Framework and ensuring compliance of Internal Controls as per Group guidelines and handling and closure of GIA Audits if any.

- Driving the controlling of operating expenditures (OPEX) spends in the organization.

- The position ensures preparation of all necessary presentations for local and group management which supports for strategic decision making.

- The positions compiles, coordinates, analyzes and verifies all the financial aspect of all new RFQ's that are applied.

- Taking initiatives for automation and standardization in reports from SAP HANA for increasing efficiency of the department and ways of working.

- Liaise with bankers and treasury function

- Liaise with bankers for inward and outward foreign remittances.

Key Accountabilities :

1. Ensuring and Reviewing local & Group Reporting month on month basis. Overall responsible for Performance Management, Management Accounting and Reporting for the company. Analyse financial information and complex financial reports so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions

2. Ensuring Financial Transparency of the MIS's and Reports submitted to Local Management and KL. Major Reports and MIS's that are submitted are Sales Volume Reports, Travel Report, NRV Testing, Reporting of Revenue, COGS and GP, Business Line Reports, Sales Matrix details etc.

3. Highlighting to management any risk sitting in the Internal controls and their operations

4. Supporting CFO, CEO and business heads for strategic decision with respect to upcoming business proposals with detailed financial analysis. Taking initiatives for making financial calculator for business proposal review and decision making.

5. Review of GL reconciliations done by the junior accountants

6. Review of Bank reconciliations done by the junior accountants

7. Assisting CFO for Working Capital Management and Cash Flow Analysis and providing inputs on the cash flow forecast in conjunction with treasury

8. Ensuring, Reviewing Monthly, quarterly and adhoc presentations for local and group management

9. Reviewing business performance board papers for Board Meeting and ensuring preparation of board paper presentation

10. Reviewing and aligning Price Variation Clause (PVC) with Customer

11. Planning and ensuring the Bi-Annual FCF Testing in a streamlined way for PLIPL and highlighting any risk or gaps to Management on the Internal Controls. Also support for GIA audit queries, alignment and closure of the same.

12. Reviewing and updating management on tracking and controlling of Operating Expenditures (OPEX) for e.g. Travel, BTL and other OPEX via Internal Order

13. Reviewing of marketing schemes before pay-out

14. Provides guidance to the team on Limits of Authority (LoA), Internal Controls, Processes and General accounting according to group policy

15. Ensuring transparency and alignment with group policies and guidelines

- Disciplined roll out and compliance of Limits of Authority across organization (LoA)

- Assisting CFO and CEO for taking strategic decision on new business proposal

- Representing Customer on behalf of organization for answering all the financial queries and concerns

- Reporting and Controlling on all OPEX spends (e.g. Travel, BTL and other OPEX)

- Automation of processes and controls for faster and controlled accounting environment.
