OPPORTUNITY

- This opportunity is based in Andheri East, Mumbai. The successful individual in this position will be able to make an immediate effective contribution by drawing upon their previous experience and developing it further by utilizing expertise within the company for supporting the clients globally.

JOB PROFILE :

- The job involves conducting fundamental equity and investment research to support clients and contribute to internal knowledge-building efforts. Typical projects will involve gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and presenting data using structured methodologies, assumptions, and frameworks.

- Initiation and maintenance of research through end-to-end reports on companies/sectors that include detailed analysis of business drivers, macro events, industrial and regulatory developments, high-reaching positioning, and relative analysis with peers. Building and maintaining financial models, preparing detailed company reports with deep-dive industry analysis.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Science Graduate (B.E., B.Tech, or B.Sc) with Post Graduate in Finance (MBA, MMS, PGDM), or International CFA (all three levels cleared)

EXPERIENCE :

Equity Research Analyst position : Total 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry after completing the post-graduation

Senior Equity Research Analyst position : Total 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry after completing the post-graduation

Should have a minimum of two years of working experience in the financial research domain (in a KPO set up) for both the above positions.

PREFERENCES :

- Should have worked for a min. of 2 years in the current organization

- Engineering/Science/Mathematics background

- Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to participate in the growth journey of the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INVOLVE :

- Fundamental equity research analysis of the companies in the clients portfolio with a focus on the healthcare sector

- Build dynamic financial models consisting of integrated Income Statement/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow Statements, along with revenue/cost model, DCF valuation, comparable valuation, and sensitivity analysis

- Write research reports, including initiating coverage reports, equity research reports, earnings analysis reports, fundraising presentations, industry/sector reports, investment teasers, information memorandums, pitchbooks (both on sell-side and buy-side projects)

- Support the senior analyst/client analyst in deep-dive secondary research, including data gathering, populating, building, and maintaining financial models, preparing sections of the report or the entire report, ratio calculation and analysis, relative analysis with peers, and industry/company presentations

- Ensure that the tasks assigned are completed within the deadline and ensure a top-quality output with a thoroughly conducted self-driven quality-check process

- Maintain flexibility to learn new techniques and functionalities and gain exposure to various types of assignments

- Contribute to internal knowledge creation and ad-hoc assignments

- Handle ad-hoc research requests as per client requirements

- Support in developing and maintaining databases to monitor/analyze industry and companies

- Data mining through deep internet research

- Exposure to sell-side, buy-side, private equity, wealth management-related assignments

EXPERIENCE THAT WILL HELP YOU EXCEL :

- Must have tracked and researched companies from the US, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East across sectors

- Must be well versed and experienced in financial modelling and valuation analyses, including DCF and comparable company analysis

- Searching, reading, and analyzing SEC filings (10Q, 10K, and 20F), investor presentations, and earnings transcripts to prepare and update financial models and company reports

- Writing reports of various forms- short company profiles, detailed initiating coverage reports, equity research reports, investment thesis, fundraising presentations/profiles, sector/industry reports

- Prior, direct experience in the healthcare industry equity research is a plus

- Multitasking, self-driven, and willing to take responsibilities

- Ability to function independently while maintaining a collegial and collaborative approach to working with other team members

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
