We are a leading US MNC Pharmaceutical company located at Ambernath, Mumbai.

We are currently hiring for Senior Income Tax Analyst.

The detailed Job description is as under :

Job Purpose : Assists in the preparation of the India companies- quarterly financial statements (ASC 740/FIN48), completes tax compliance, assist with tax audits and works on tax planning and research. Also monitors and assists with indirect taxes reports such as VAT and payroll taxes. Act as the local lead for all tax audits and notices.

Education : Chartered Accountant / CPA

Job location : Ambernath, Mumbai.

Experience : 6-10yrs.

Must possess a comprehensive understanding of tax laws, financial reporting (including ASC 740, FIN48 and SOX). Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work independently toward multiple concurrent deadlines are essential to this position. Computer literacy and advanced skills in the use of accounting/tax software along with a working knowledge of SAP, MS Excel strongly desired

Major Duties / Responsibilities :

- Responsible for financial reporting (including FAS 109, FIN 48 and SOX).

- Ensures that all India income tax returns are completed and filed.

- Completes estimated payments and extensions and maintains documentation to support ITA tax audits.

- Indirect taxes

- Researches and resolves tax issues.

- Carries out expanded and advanced responsibilities to work towards developing in income tax analysis to include but not limited to assisting with special projects, diverse scope, leading and/or supervising others.

- Conducts audits of income tax within local guidelines and appropriate global company policies.

- Ensures administrative responsibilities are competed to include but not limited to research, prepares and presents information, completion of day-to-day paperwork, projects and related functions.

Candidates should have prior experience of working in Matrix Relationship and knowledge of Transfer Pricing.
