Perfetti Van Melle, one of the world's largest confectionery organization, with brands like Chupa Chups, Alpenliebe, Mentos, Happydent, Center Fresh is looking for a passionate and experienced Manager- New Product Development for Chennai factory. The individual will report to P&T- Lead. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure the right Project Management and Coordination of all the activities related to the NPD process from the selection of RM, recipe design, lab trials, industrial trials, study of the FP 2. Ensure the coordination of all the above activities with the stakeholders involved. Ensure the right level of documentation to support and record the information related to the activities on NPDs 3. Monitoring NPD sample connectivity to different stake holders as per requirements for different high profile meetings 4. To keep the recipes (and the RMs) in compliance with the PVM polices and the legal requirements 5. Liaison with different ingredients manufacturer &amp; flavor houses to arrange required ingredients &amp; flavors for trials 6. After product outcome and tasting with core team, sharing feedback to Ingredients manufacturer &amp; flavor house for adjustment 7. Ensure the correct data also through validation exercise for the sensitive information of BOM for all the products live SKUs and NPDs 8. Share the information with the relevant stakeholders and support the budget activities 9. Coordination with Stores and Purchase on the BOM &amp; SAP related activities 10. Ensure the right support and management of the software/tools Like PDR, Ducats, SAP, LEGO &amp; 5 Pillars, Flavor Room traceability 11. Plant Round to check running products, parameters, machine &amp; equipment's outcome and performance 12. Preparation of Technology transfer documents for new products, R&amp;D methodology, Establishing &amp; Validate the technological Parameters for NPD. Establish, Validate and ensure to align the parameters along with stakeholders 13. Weekly P&amp;T meeting preparation (project management) ensuring updates and planning of required inputs/trials/studies 14. Monthly NPD meeting updates and planning of required trials, communications and releasing project finalization/cancellation/WIP 15. Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to help solve plant production problems Key Requirements: 1. Flexible Thinking 2. People Management 3. Knowledge of Raw Material and ingredients, Industrial Processes, Lab Application and equipment 4. Effective communication and interpersonal Skills 5. Exposure in Packaging Experience : 8 to 12 years of experience with leading food industries Education: - Graduate/Post Graduate in food technology / Science, Diary technology - CFTRI, ICT, HBTI, NDRI, LIT colleges are Preferred
