Job Title Manager :
- Media, Research & Strategy
- Business Function Marketing
Location L Mumbai
Role Definition :
The role will be responsible for all offline media planning and spends for Pepperfry and will report into Head, Brand & Retention. He/she will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities across markets and demographics and plan and deploy offline media effectively leading to achievement of brand & business goals.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Identify growth strategies based on deep understanding of the Pepperfry consumer, markets and media channels by working with internal and external stakeholders and datasets
- Work with media agencies to execute planning and buying across mediums (TV, Radio, Print, Out-door) for the business.
- Ensure optimum return on investment across all offline media spends.
- Review, negotiate and approve budgets for all ATL & BTL activities.
- Monitor all offline competition activities and come up with effective counter strategies.
- Lead all Brand research studies sanctioned.
Required Skills :
- Deep understanding of all channels of offline media (TV, Print, Radio, Out-door).
- Proficiency in managing large media spends (in excess of 5cr/campaign).
- Prior experience in managing media for e-commerce brands will be an advantage.
- Strong quantitative skillsets and structured analytical approach to problem solving.
- Result oriented approach and good communication skills are a must.
Technical Skills :
- Hands on with media planning tools such as BARC, IRS etc.
- High proficiency in Excel, MS Access etc.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics.
Required Qualifications :
- MBA from a Top Tier B-school [IIMs, XLRI, MICA preferred]
- 2-3 years post MBA experience in media buying and planning in a top FMCG/Media/Advertising organization or in Brand Management in consumer facing industries.
