- Pepper (www.peppercontent.io) is building India's largest content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 10 content verticals and 150+ content categories, 40+ content verticals, and 40+ global languages.

- We are on the path to building a global on-demand content marketplace platform that allows for collaboration, discovery, and upskilling for all our creators. Now we are in a rapid expansion phase to enter into more content service offerings, engage a wide spectrum of content creators and at the same time, scale up our existing services. To fuel all this, we have some exciting product ideas planned, and we are looking for stellar folks who can ideate, plan and execute upon them to get the product out of the door.

Job Responsibilities:

- Making sure every inbound marketing lead is reached out within the nest industry-standard sales TAT and setting up the qualification metrics for MQLs to SQLs

- Managing a team of SDRs to take care of the reach outs and follow ups to all the leads coming in through various marketing channels

- Managing a team of account executives who are responsible for making sure that all SQLs are converted into clients

- Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process from an inbound lens

- Track and report on sales metrics and suggest improvements on a regular basis making sure all necessary actions are taken to make those improvements

- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts in sync with the marketing teams

- Ensuring an end-to-end sales cycles is followed and revenue targets are met with the customers converted by Account Executives

- Working in sync with the Marketing team in order to report the quality of leads as well as analyzing the sales for better performance marketing optimization

- Making sure the customer gains the best of experiences for all test/pilot projects that they do with Pepper

- Making sure that all converted clients are smoothly handed over to the client servicing teams for project executions

An Ideal Candidate Should Have:

- 7-9 years of Sales Experience (Min. 4 years of Inside Sales Experience)

- Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets

- Previous experience as a sales manager or sales and marketing director having managed teams of minimum 3-4 people

- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services

- Proven ability to position products against competitors

- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions

- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
