Pepper (www.peppercontent.in) is building India's largest content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 10 content verticals and 150+ content categories, 40+ content verticals, and 40+ global languages. We are on the path to building a global on-demand content marketplace platform that allows for collaboration, discovery, and upskilling for all our creators. Now we are in a rapid expansion phase to enter into more content service offerings, engage a wide spectrum of content creators and at the same time, scale up our existing services. To fuel all this, we have some exciting product ideas planned, and we are looking for stellar folks who can ideate, plan and execute upon them to get the product out of the door. Owning the entire P/L of a critical category of Pepper. Responsibilities: - Owning the entire P/L of a critical category of Pepper - Undertaking a comprehensive study of the supply building channel, engagement SOPs, QC setup and pricing - Redefining and streamlining all the processes in the category based on this study - Monitoring and removing inefficiencies from the system - Gathering insights to help in productizing the entire operational flow - Setting up scalable systems from an operations lens and business lens - Collaborating with stakeholders such as QC Lead and Operations Lead to drive the vertical to a success Requirements: - 2+ years of consulting experience and 2+ years of experience in a high growth start-up in an execution/ operations first role - Should be able to leverage business, growth, design, and data skills to build and scale an entire category - Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills - Should have all that it takes to succeed in a startup environment flexibility, working beyond the call of duty, ability to multitask and deliver under pressure, and a high level of ownership
