The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Product manager is expected to:

- Work with Marketing and Sales to jointly plan the product strategy and roadmap.

- Act as a leader within the company who drives the future for that product

- Deliver MRDs and PRDs also have clear sense of what is Urgent/Importanst vs Important and Not Urgent. Balancing and building from both is the key for our success.

- Taking ownership along with Engineering team to execute and deliver.

Key responsibilities:

- Product Strategy: Develop and drive the strategic roadmap for the performance module, considering market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis. Define clear objectives, milestones, and success criteria.

- Requirements Gathering: Conduct market research, gather user feedback, and collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify and prioritize feature requirements and enhancements for the performance module.

- Product Development: Work closely with the engineering team to translate requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and wireframes. Define and prioritize features, ensuring timely and high-quality development.

- User Experience (UX) Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and industry best practices.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams, including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless product development and launch. Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members to drive product success.

- Release Management: Coordinate the release and deployment of product updates and new features. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure a bug-free and reliable product.

- Product Adoption and Support: Work closely with the customer support team to ensure smooth adoption and usage of the performance module. Address customer inquiries, feedback, and feature requests, and continuously improve product usability and satisfaction.

- Analytics and Reporting: Define key product metrics and implement analytics tools to measure product performance. Analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights to drive data-informed product decisions.

- Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to performance management and HR Tech. Share knowledge and insights with the team and contribute to thought leadership in the industry.

- Ability to clearly understand customer needs, wants and desires. Marry them with true pain points and think of solutions.

- Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.

- Follow competitors and conduct capability analysis regularly.

- Provide internal teams and customers training on how to use the product.

- Answer incoming questions from sales, customer success teams about the product and its capabilities.

- You will own the product adoption and client NPS.

- Rationalizing customer asks and building configurable platforms that are sellable would-be key differentiator of good vs great PMs.

Basic Qualification:

- Experience of working in a top product company or consulting firm preferably in HR space.

- Total work experience of 5+ years with relevant Product Management experience of 2+ years.

- Postgraduates with full time MBA and 2+ years' experience would be preferred.

- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably in HR Tech or related domains.

- Strong understanding of performance management processes and methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).

- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and ability to provide input to design decisions.

- Knowledge of HR systems, technologies, and integration capabilities is a plus.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive results in a dynamic and evolving organization.

- Understanding of Technology and SaaS
