People Operations Advisor, APAC

The People Operations Advisor will be providing first-line People Operations services to employees and managers based in APAC (India, Singapore, Australia), and is primarily responsible for keeping an accurate administration of employee information, benefits administration, implementation and management of local and company-wide policies, advising on local legislation, payroll support, and any other people admin related topics.

Main responsibilities:

- Be the main point of contact for Employees and Managers, providing a professional and efficient service using our ticketing solution (ServiceNow).

- Handling all aspects of our People administration, using our HRIS tool daily, and maintaining accurate personnel files as well as internal trackers and reports.

- Preparing and issuing relevant documentation.

- Creating and maintaining articles in our Employee Portal and internal Knowledge Base. Ensure all materials and templates used for core People processes are always up to date.

- Be the subject matter expert on benefits administration and absence management.

- Share knowledge, advise and support the implementation of country regulations, policies, and best practices in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Global People Operations team, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, People Business Partners, etc).

- Process and advise on international hires and internal mobility processes (relocation package, visa process, labor documentation).

- Assist People Business Partners on terminations, disciplinary cases, grievances, etc.

- Support initiatives to drive and improve operational HR processes.

- Participate in key projects at a regional and global scale.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Relevant degree and HR qualification.

- Knowledge on labor and compliance laws in India (additional APAC countries is a plus).

- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position.

- Excellent understanding of HR Operations, tools & key processes in a global, rapidly expanding company.

- Fluency in both written & spoken English.

- Excellent administrative and technical skills (HR Information systems; Excel; PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with Workday and/or ServiceNow is a plus.

- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a fast-paced environment.

- Great communication skills.

- Passion for People.

- Proven self-starter with the ability to work largely without direct supervision.

- High attention to detail.
