Pega Architect - CPLSA - IT/BPO

Role: Pega Architect

Location - Gurgaon

Qualification: Should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences/ Computer Application/ Engineering. Should be a certified Pega Lead System Architect (CPLSA)

Experience:

- 9 years of software development experience with at least 2 years as a Pega Lead System Architect with Team Management experience. Experience in Pega 7.0 and above will be preferred

- Should have hand-on experience in developing applications on Pega Platform including architecture, design, database and best practices in application development in agile environment and information security

- Strong experience scoping, planning and delivering projects using iterative software development lifecycles over multiple release cycles

- Previous experience as a lead architect on multiple large-scale product or enterprise designs

- Familiarity with technologies like Java Script, HTML, CSS, Rest APIs

- Should have hands on experience in developing Web and Mobile applications

- Should have experience in integrating external applications/ utilities/ gateways with Applications build on Pega Platform

- Knowledge of components for enterprise architecture like enterprise beans is a plus

- Experience in using ML/ AI/ RPA within Pega will be preferred

- Experience in working collaboratively with Technology Vendors will be preferred

Roles & Responsibilities - 

- To engage with Product teams and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and workflows. Candidate should actively contribute to map functional requirements to Pega features and functionality and help in creating a Work-flow Roadmap

- Architects multi-tier scalable and future-proof enterprise applications within Pega Guardrails

- Translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements using Pega Systems Smart BPM methodology and DCO tools. Modularize the solution for agile and parallel development by the team (on-rolls and implementation partner)

- Optimize solutions by performing detailed code and design reviews (auto and manual)

- Integrate multiple technologies & existing systems using Pega systems

- To provide an estimate of time and resource requirement for completion of the project

- Works with Head of Technology, Product Management, Business, DevOps, QA and other delivery teams to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects to satisfy business needs

- To plan the delivery schedule and conduct interim PoC/ Demo of project deliverables and to regularly update key stakeholders on the project status

- To ensure that developers have followed the organization's development process and the code has been properly reviewed and unit tested before being pushed into test environment

- Resolve conflicts on high level decisions about architecture, deployment strategies and other cross team challenges

- Manage stakeholder requirements, function as technology SPOC for delivery of projects/ programs and application support.

- Work with Head of Technology to establish design and coding guidelines for building secure and scalable products. Encourage and promote the writing of well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.

- Act as a SPOC for relevant Technology Vendors & ensure timely and quality delivery from them

- Grow and manage Pega skills and talent in the organization. Manage People Resource processes related to objectives definitions, regular check-in and assessment

- Stay in touch with emerging technologies / industry trends and apply them as necessary
