We are looking to hire a Product Development and Sourcing Manager for a leading Electronics Brand who would be responsible in sourcing and R&amp;D of new products in various product categories that the brand deals in including Smart Wearables, Headphones, Speakers and other IoT products. Looking for someone who is detail-oriented and has a solid understanding of product development, vendor negotiations, market gap/demand analysis, product packaging, vendor development within India and China. The role would require critical thinking and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Gain a deep understanding of customer requirements and experience, identify and fill product gaps in the market though innovative product development - Sourcing and developing a product range for the brand with different suppliers across India and China. - Negotiating best prices and favourable commercials/payment terms for the company - Driving end-to-end process from sampling, tech and designs customisations, mass production and quality assurance. - Working closely with ODMs and OEMs to ensure detailed product requirements and quality standards are met. - Working closely with sales and marketing teams to collect market feedback on existing items and competition - Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services Requirements: - Minimum 4-5 years of prior experience in sourcing and procurement - Exposure to working and negotiating with factories in India and China is essential - Knowledgeable and keen understanding in product design and development along with packaging design - Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in understanding Electronics and IoT devices - Strong problem solving skills and willingness and enthusiasm to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - B.Tech from a reputed Institution, Post Graduation preferred Salary offered: 7-12LPA
