- The role is responsible for defining marketing strategies and go to market plans for one of business line of Pearson India and scaling the vertical for better revenues. - To be successful in this role you will demonstrate strong commercial acumen. The role requires 360-degree marketing across all medium: Manage both ATL/BTL, Online/ Offline activities along with E-com. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: - This role is responsible defining Go to market strategies across platforms (Online/Offline) - Lead all marketing and content initiatives for assigned business verticals. - Create consistent messaging and brand positioning - Ensure that the brand is communicated effectively on the website, social media and other collaterals. - Managing eCommerce presence in marketplaces across India, driving secondary sales effectively. - Working closely with the product and business heads in India and Globally to identify market opportunities and create the product vision and strategy - Engagement with authors &amp; influencers for better visibility. - Establish detailed KPIs to track and report on both financial and qualitative performance. - Transform data into actionable insights and recommendations, identifying the levers of customer acquisition and retention behavior. - Bring new ideas and innovative approaches to digital experiences to drive growth and conversion. - Ensure alignment with global brand vision whilst maintaining local relevance - Design internal and external communication in line with the brand voice - Understanding true channel performance, and using this to recommend channel-specific cost-per-acquisition targets that result in a strong return-on-advertising-spend - Using a strong understanding of customer online journeys to identify key opportunities to drive improvements in conversion. - Additionally Develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans/programs for assigned business vertical/s and manage the effective deployment of marketing budget along with the business head. - Measure &amp; track KPIs in sync with business objectives Knowledge and Skills: - MBA Marketing with 8-10+ years of experience with minimum 8 years of experience in Marketing or performance marketing. Minimum of 5 years of leading eCommerce/digital marketing specially B2C/ D2C - Must have experience in running 360 degree marketing campaigns with defined Kpis . - Overseeing any digital marketing agencies relationships, setting clear objectives, targets and commercials, and ensuring close monitoring and feedback on performance - Track record of successfully implementing Search Marketing, Social, managing Affiliates and running Display campaigns in a global environment, across multiple channels - Managed retail management along with instore advertising and customer engagements - Experience of developing opportunities in various global markets and delivering aggressive growth in a fast-paced environment - Proven ability of creating campaigns that deliver increased traffic and revenue - Proven experience of tracking and reporting on successful ROI - Deep understanding of digital marketing best practice
