Roles & Responsibilities

Recruitment and Induction (20% of time)

- To actively support, and have an overview of, on-going recruitment, adding value to the recruitment process by advising and supporting the recruiting manager on JD development, the recruitment and selection process, and any other relevant aspects.

- Advising on bespoke aspects of new starter induction, as appropriate.

Change management and employee relations (20% of time)

- Lead on or support any organizational change affecting people at all our Campuses.

- Support any employee relations issues, including formal disciplinary procedures, conflict management, mediation, long term sickness etc.

Performance Management (10% of time)

- Oversee probation management, ensuring that managers agree objectives and that they are regularly reviewed, and that performance is documented during probation.

- Management and support of any issues that arise both for employee and manager, ensuring that any performance issues are dealt with effectively.

- Ensure leadership team carries out the Performance Management process (including regular 1-1 meetings during the year).

Retention and Development (15% of time)

- Facilitate annual People Review meetings with the leadership team, including the identification of high potential, high risk and low performing staff.

- Work with the leadership team to develop appropriate retention and development plans arising from the people review.

- Support the leadership team to develop appropriate Team Development plans, and encourage all employees to document and follow up on personal development plans.

- Review and follow up development plans.

- Ensuring the Training & Development Calendar is done in coordination with the important stakeholders. All interventions to be of high quality and relevant to the development of people.

Reward and compensation (10% of time)

- Advise on, coordinate and analyse pay levels for India region, including salary benchmarking and the structure, communication to managers, ensuring they understand and can interpret results and communicate to individuals.

- Ensure recommendations are implemented.

- Advise employees on their benefits as needed.

- Share with wider HR team as necessary to ensure good internal pay benchmarks.

Employee engagement (10% of time)

- Support the Directorate/Regions with specific employee engagement initiatives, including the global employee survey completion and follow up.

- Bringing all reports of the Employee Engagement survey from paper to - in action-

Global HR projects (15% of time)

- Support and/or lead global HR projects and initiatives as agreed as part of a thematic lead or agreed objective.

- Ensuring that the Global projects are given importance depending on its relevance to the local context and making proper communication on the same to the leadership team.
