Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Trade Lane Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, coordinating export operations, and ensuring compliance with US trade regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of export procedures and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding export shipments, pricing, delivery schedules, and documentation requirements.

- Provide timely and accurate information to customers, addressing any concerns or issues they may have.

- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details and documentation.

- Coordinate with internal departments, including logistics, sales, and finance, to resolve customer inquiries and ensure smooth order processing.

- Maintain customer records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status updates, delays, and any other relevant information.

- In depth knowledge and experience with US trade regulations, including AMS and ISF.

- Coordinate with agents, freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to arrange transportation and ensure timely delivery of export shipments.

- Monitor and track export shipments, providing regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for export operations, ensuring consistency and efficiency in processes.

- Stay informed about changes in US trade regulations and export compliance requirements, providing guidance and training to staff as needed.

- Good understanding in terminologies for clearance and transportation of the US.

- Getting DDP and DAP rates from the agents in the US.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree in international business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in customer service and export coordination, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.

- In-depth knowledge of US export regulations and compliance requirements, including familiarity with AMS and ISF.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
