The role would be to own the business development efforts for the Footwear category (mens & womens footwear) for the marketplace business of Paytm. The key deliverable's from the role would be:  Job Responsibilities   - Identify merchant partners for the footwear category under the marketplace model  - Source catalogues of national brands and private labels for the footwear category (Mens & Womens Footwear) and ensure availability of a wide variety of footwear products on the marketplace  - Work with merchandising team to get the catalogues live on the marketplace  - Negotiate margins / transfer price from merchant partners on the footwear catalogues sourced  - DOD – Get very good deal of the day (DOD) products & work with merchandising team to promote them aggressively and drive the business for the footwear category  - Be the SPOC (Single Point of contact) for the footwear category for internal teams and for merchant partners and handle the operations, resolve issues and drive the day-day sales for the category  Key Deliverables  - Deliver the business metrics for the footwear category viz. Availability (# of listings, stock availability, # of merchant partners), Sales (GMV, Qty Sold) and Profitability (% gross margins)  - Maintain the balance between MOM growth for current sellers and avoiding seller concentration – so get new sellers for the category while growing business for current sellers  - Reduce churn of the Top sellers – keep all the top sellers engaged with the marketplace through day – day interaction on live catalogues, introducing new catalogues and deals  - Ensure the category sellers deliver a good experience for buyers in the category  Profile Requirements  - 1-4 years of experience of managing footwear category in a e-commerce set up (preferably marketplace model e-commerce)  - Business development mindset and strong operational co-ordination  - Good negotiation skills  - Proficient in MS Office  - Attention to detail and comfortable working in a ground up business environment  Grade – Senior Associate or AM – Footwear Category (depending on the experience)  Reports Into – Senior Manager – Fashion Category
