Job Description:
- Establish the National Business Development function working closely with the founders by setting the company's business development vision, mission, goals, strategies and deliverable based on the company's objectives and budget.
- Create GTM plan and drive execution for onboarding new and managing relationships with existing merchant partners ranging from individuals stores to regional chains.
- Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the company.
- Draw up national plans post study of market, and thereby enable best suited distribution models with right span and spread. Drive Pilots to test hypothesis and suggest scalable solutions to improve efficiency.
- Analyse changing market trends and local competition to study changes in their local or broader strategy and drive counter strategies.
- Implement processes and metrics for tracking progress and setup review mechanisms with all the stakeholders.
- Drive product / process innovations through available data points, market observation and reporting of merchant and customer behaviour to modify and evolve regional plans and execution strategy, along with driving product improvements.
- Partner with cross functional teams like Marketing, Sales Capability and HR to ensure process gaps are plugged and team is enabled with appropriate levels of market collaterals, headcount, onboarding experience, sales capability building inputs.
- Recruiting and Retaining high performers.
- Ensuring highest levels of employee relationship, motivation & engagement to drive results & high levels of employee satisfaction and drive employee development.
- Identifying the need of employee training and driving the training program
Preferrable candidate :
- Master's Degree or its equivalent in Marketing and Business Administration or any other related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in business development/channel sales/fintech
- Demonstrable track record of business development, increasing sales, drive process and man power optimisation preferably in the fintech/lending sector.
- Very strong communication and negotiation skills, high degree of commercial awareness, with business acumen.
- Ability to work and interact with senior executives, a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrable track record of success in key account management
