- Paysense is Nexus and Jungle funded startup focussed on improving the financial lives of the indian consumer. In an exclusive partnership with India Infoline (IIFL ~$600 mn networth), we are reinventing credit and access to it for the next billion Indian consumers.
- Traditional banks and lending institutions in India are serving less than 5% of all credit requirements. Primary sources of data on consumer spend and credit behaviour either do not exist, or, are fundamentally broken. We saw this as a challenging opportunity to build out large scale credit system from scratch. One year post our initial launch we lend around 7 Crores per month and are growing exponentially.

About the job :
- Immerse yourself in all aspects of credit world; become a subject matter expert
- Build high-visibility reports and dashboards used by teams across the company
- Work closely with product and tech teams to quantify impact of existing products and brainstorm new ideas. Should we launch a new credit payments product for our customers, or improve existing ones
- Work with data science team to tune our existing algorithms (default prediction, fraud detection, etc), and build new algos to intelligently identify trends in our data.
- Partner closely with business and operations team to find ways to optimize current processes through data and define new ones
About you:
- You are an engineering-minded analyst with 2+ years of experience applying analytical techniques and building analytical tools
- You are able to write complex SQL in your sleep
- You have working knowledge of ETL and data warehousing concepts
- You are able to hack your way through Python, R or other programming environments
- Good to have experience in using one or more visualization tools (Tableau, D3, etc)
- Good to have experience of working with a web-oriented company, supporting engineering, product or operations functions.
