PaySense - Business Analyst - IIT/NIT/ISI

About the job :

- Immerse yourself in all aspects of credit world; become a subject matter expert

- Build high-visibility reports and dashboards used by teams and management across the company

- Work closely with product and tech teams to quantify impact of existing products and brainstorm new ideas. Should we launch a new credit payments product for our customers, or improve existing ones?

- Work with data science team to tune our existing algorithms (default prediction, fraud detection, etc), and build new algos to intelligently identify trends in our data.

- Partner closely with business and operations team to find ways to optimize current processes through data and define new ones

About you :

- You are an engineering-minded analyst with 2+ years of experience applying analytical techniques and building analytical tools

- You are able to write complex SQL in your sleep

- You have working knowledge of ETL and data warehousing concepts

- You are able to hack your way through Python, R or other programming environments

- Good to have experience in using one or more visualization tools (Tableau, D3, etc)

- Good to have experience of working with a web-oriented company, supporting engineering, product or operations functions.

- Must have an statistics/engineering degree from Tier-1 college
