The Payroll Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire payroll function for multiple business units.

- Supervising the end-to-end payroll process to ensure precise and punctual salary disbursements.
- Calculating salaries, deductions, and incentives in accordance with Indian labor laws.
- Remaining abreast of updates in Indian tax laws and statutory obligations pertaining to payroll.
- Ensuring accurate deductions for Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), Income Tax, and other statutory contributions.
- Generating and filing various statutory reports like PF, ESI, TDS, and others.
- Directing a team of payroll professionals, delegating responsibilities, and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Providing training and mentorship to team members on payroll procedures and compliance matters.
- Conducting regular statutory audits of payroll records to uphold accuracy and compliance standards.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of payroll processes, policies, and employee records.
- Leveraging payroll software for salary processing and report generation.
- Collaborating with IT and Vendor teams to enhance payroll efficiency through system upgrades and enhancements.
- Addressing employee inquiries concerning payroll, tax deductions, and financial matters.
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless information flow.
- Enforcing company policies relating to payroll, attendance, and leave management.
- Upholding internal controls and audit guidelines.
- Coordinating with external vendors for payroll-related services, including tax consultants and payroll processing firms.
- Identifying opportunities for process enhancement and implementing best practices to streamline payroll operations.
