Manager/ Sr. Manager Business Development
What you will get to work on?
- Work in a well-funded early-stage startup with a passion for solving payments related challenges in an innovative way
- Developing and executing PayGlocal's end-to-end Sales/ Business Development/ Merchant Acquisition strategy.
- Identifying potential customers and market opportunities for PayGlocal.
- Establishing a rapport, Negotiating and Acquiring new Merchants/ resellers onto PayGlocal Payments products.
- Coordinating with multiple teams - Risk & Operations, Customer Support, Tech, etc., to enable a smooth payment processing experience for the merchant.
What we expect from you?
- Good understanding of the Payments ecosystem.
- Develop & effectively manage sales/ business development pipeline.
- Understand needs of different customer segments and identify potential opportunities for PayGlocal.
- Develop strategies for lead generation.
- Initiate, structure and negotiate with prospective customers (merchants) for high-impact partnerships.
- Support the merchants onboarded, throughout their relationship lifecycle with PayGlocal by coordinating with Customer Support, Risk & Operations teams.
- Work closely with the Product & Marketing teams to develop and implement PayGlocal's go-to-market strategy.
- Develop and introduce new PayGlocal offerings to the market together with Customer Support, Marketing, Product, and tech teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills, management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Prior experience of 3 - 6+ years in a business development role & a proven track record of driving results through negotiation.
- Prior experience in Merchant Acquisition space/ Payments/ Fintech is necessary.
