Learning & Development Specialist

Job Summary:

The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for executing the learning and development strategy for PATH's rapidly growing and diverse team. Specifically, the Learning and Development Specialist will leverage excellent written and verbal communication skills to build relationships across a global team, effectively driving a culture of continuous professional development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide input into PATH learning and development strategies.

- Act as an expert consultant to different business units helping them identify performance gaps/training needs and advising on the best learning and development methods and interventions in line with PATH's strategic objectives.

- Develop high quality training solutions including e-learning, virtual and instructor-led courses for delivery on a global scale and aligned to PATH business objectives.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

- Facilitate training programs in line with organizational needs

- Drive a culture of continuous professional development (CPD). This will entail developing various strategies for engaging learners to build the PATH brand of employee development in the eyes of the employees.

- Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance to training programs, results of tests and assessments and retraining requirements.

- Maintain knowledge of latest trends in learning and development

- Develop communication plan and materials in support of learning and development initiatives such as new course offerings.

- Responsible for developing the annual training calendar for PATH.

- Maintain training budget to ensure value for money.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- 7 to 10 Years of Experience.

- Strong presentation/facilitation skills.

- Instructional design.

- Business consultation skills/Business acumen.

- Coaching skills.

- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

- Excellent organization and follow-up skills to coordinate program efforts.

- Ability to maintain databases.
