Partnership Associate - Investment Banking/SaaS

Expectations from this role:

- Proactively source high-quality partners and stakeholders in the startup financing space (financial advisors, bankers, accelerators, incubators, angel groups/networks, angel syndicates, micro-VC funds, VC funds etc.) across India to become partners.

- Proactively source, onboard, and train these partners on our financing process, including data required for financial criteria, use cases, and our eligibility criteria to finance companies.

- Identify select highly qualified and professional startup financing agencies to explore deeper partnership opportunities - Working with qualified companies and partners to generate leads who could be interested in non-dilutive financing

- Supporting online or offline events in the country (across our offices in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai)

- Deliver in-person and online presentations for partners and stakeholders in the startup financing space mentioned above

- Ensure our terms of financing and incentive structure for partners are clearly communicated and incentives are paid out on time to these partners

- Work across teams to respond to inquiries from partners as well as requests from our prospective companies and internal teams.

Who are we looking for:

- Experience in B2B Partnership in the financial or SAAS services space

- Experience prospecting and qualifying company inquiries and assigning it to the appropriate people from internal and external teams.

- Experience delivering high levels of customer service to B2B partners

- Knowledge of the financial services industry, networks and communities of startup stakeholders, boutique investments banks, and financing agents in India.

- Working knowledge of spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

- Advanced English skills are a must

- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle objections

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment

- Aptitude for prioritizing tasks with a high attention to detail to ensure information accuracy

- Strong organization and project management skills

- Ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to complex issues
