Candidate Experience & Skills

MUST HAVE EXPOSURE WORKING IN THE BFSI DOMAIN

A seasoned leader with experience in Domestic & International Taxation, Market Entry Strategies for Multinationals and Outbound Tax Structuring Strategies in the India market.

An experience of working around Tax Due Diligence, Capital Structuring, Cross Border Taxation (including JV's, M&A), Tax Compliance and representation before tax and regulatory authorities - including but not limited to Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (Re-insurance), NBFCs, Asset Management Companies, Micro-lenders, Venture Capital & Private Equity Funds etc.

An individual who can source opportunities and leverage them with clients through tailored and progressive approaches and lead complex engagements by providing sound advice around taxation matters with the right tools, skills, resources, alliances, and capabilities.

An individual with good business acumen with relationships in the India market and the experience of managing a P&L.

A People Person who believes that culture is at the core and has built, nurtured, and led teams on Tax engagements.

An individual with an affiliation to professional associations in BFSI will be an advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Market and Expertise Partner

- The individual will be responsible in building the book of business (Manage a P&L) and lead the Tax-BFSI practice for the firm and will be the go to person on all Tax-BFSI related matters.

- The individual will be responsible in designing and developing go-to-market strategies, intellectual property including methodologies, solutions, accelerators, and tools in the Tax-BFSI domain.

- Stay abreast on advancements around the Risk and Regulatory environment in Tax-BFSI globally, and make recommendations accordingly.

- Collaborate with leaders of the firm to enhance the client footprint for Tax-BFSI

- Be always a brand ambassador for the firm, promoting clients and work delivered in varied domains to widen the footprint for the firm.

- The ability to naturally connect, inspire trust, build strong relationships, and communicate clearly and persuasively.

- The ability to attract talent for the firm and motivate teams for successful outcomes.
