Requirement of partner with past experience in B2B Sales, Modern Trade/ Key account management on equity sharing basis for a start up catering to freight, goods transportation & consulting in the domain of logistics, warehousing.

Opportunity:

- Goods transportation (still primarily an unorganized sector) accounts for about 4.7% of GDP.

- The demand of trucks undergoes variations on monthly basis due to seasonality of various businesses in agriculture, consumer goods, mining etc and on daily basis due to the uneven primary sales cycles resulting in failure to timely procure vehicles from the market or at hefty trip rates on account of spot hiring. For firms requiring prior agreement & bank guarantee from transporters, it is a further hindrance to hire immediate vehicles from market.

- Individuals/ small firms requiring goods movement from a source to destination suffer from lack of information on whom to approach and at what rate to negotiate.

- The one-way business nature of industry, stagnant trip rates, inability to approach new customers play spoilsport for transporters on the other hand.

About us:

The firm is aimed at providing a safe & secure platform for bringing transporters, fleet owners, service providers near to third party shippers, CFAs, companies with in-house shipping ability and ensure that the requirement of vehicles for latter is compensated with the availability of trucks by former with assured service levels, optimal rates.

Role:

- While we have resources competent to take care of operations which involve expertise in the domain of logistics & also conflict resolution on account of complexity arising out of detention of vehicles, damage, shortage of insured/ uninsured goods, support is required in client management. Approaching and maintaining new clients on both supply and demand side is at the heart of the business idea.

Past experience in B2B Sales, Modern Trade/ key account management with knowledge in at least one of the below mentioned domains will be highly appreciated:

- website design/ development/ maintenance

- taxation, accounting

- past experience in PE firms

Rest assured, it will be a difficult & challenging role.

Stage of project: Website is under development and will be operational soon.
