The role holder is responsible for the execution of business development strategy for

Parksons for North region. The role is expected to identify business opportunities, build customer relationships, and convert potential customers into clients. It is also responsible for helping manage existing identified customers for Business Development and increasing wallet share from them. The role is also expected to provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings and contribute to new product development.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS :

- Number of new customers added.

- Annual Revenue Generated by the New Customers

- Increase in Revenue & wallet share from existing customers allocated for New Business Development.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Strategic Support :

- Support the NBD Head in preparation of the overall business development strategy.

- Support in preparation of projections & new customers revenue pipeline for the NBD function in line with the Sales and Business Development strategy.

New Business Development :


- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company's ambitious growth from existing and new - large customers.

- Responsible for the effective on-boarding of new customers with a large business potential

- Meet potential customers regularly, engage on continuous basis and get insights on new product requirements in consultation with the NBD Head

- Responsible for Market Study, Prospecting, Tracking Competitor activities, business initiation and development for the assigned region or product segment

- Scanning the market and communicating the innovative initiatives taken by

- Parksons Packaging for new product development with customers with a focus on making a pitch to market new products to these customers.

- Study customer company's strategies and operations and examine risks and potentials to support in negotiations.

- Prepare required response and documentation with respect to client tenders & RFQ in consultation with the NBD Head

- Drive discussions internally on areas related to pricing, technical development, and approvals.

- Coordinate with the internal PDD NPD team to co-develop the products as per specifications from customers.

- Provide inputs on costing, estimation, pricing decisions and proposals.

Customer Relations and Management :

- Maintain and nurture long term relationships with the customers across the hierarchy and key decision makers.

- Monitor the customer data and feedback and initiate corrective actions where required.

- Continuously work towards customer satisfaction

- Ensure that there is smooth transition for the customers from the BD team to the Sales team (KAM) post completion of the incubation period.

- Payment Follow up & recovery for orders supplied while handling the customer
