- Forecast Accuracy

- Forecast Bias

- Forecast the demand for particular products in terms volume/value and product mix at multiple levels for multiple time periods

- Manage forecast models, analyse trends and work towards improving forecast accuracy

- Research historical data to map trends and determine how they will influence the demand

- Prepare reports and statistics related to the demand planning and forecasting function

- Reporting of demand planning and forecasting assumptions, analysis, and decisions

- Timely communicate information to all stakeholders through weekly/monthly routines

- Work towards continuous forecasting process improvement

- Consult with functional teams such as Purchase, marketing, Plant, and IT to obtain relevant data and insights on demand

- Drive cross-functional collaboration to understand demand and stock imbalances and proactively communicate variances

- Facilitate sales and operations planning with demand forecasts/plans

- Support Supply chain, marketing teams with ad-hoc business needs

- Coach peers as required

- Perform system related administrative tasks

- Lead & Drive Planning related Improvement Projects.
