Profile: ParentCircle.com is currently looking for a Vice President - Content Strategy, who will be responsible for planning, researching, creating and managing web content in line with the company vision of providing authentic and relevant content to the parenting community. Other responsibilities will include building and managing a top quality editorial team, interfacing with a network of freelance writers and experts and setting processes in place to ensure quality content,

A successful candidate must be a dynamic individual, open minded with creative and original ideas and must be in touch with current worldwide trends in media. He or she must have strong leadership and good people skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the team.

10+ years of prior journalistic and editing experience with strong writing and language skills is essential. A passion for parenting and education is an additional plus! This is an opportunity to be a key member of India's first generation of new media and social curation. Compensation will be on par with industry standards.

Essential requirements:

10+ years in journalism/editing Excellent written English language skills with a strong understanding of style, diction, voice and grammar

Strategic content management for the platform. Ability to manage online content with a view to meet organisational objectives such as traffic, shares, likes, etc. and also online subscription revenue.

Must have very good grasp of SEO optimisation of webpages

Develop and implement processes for the editorial department

Good grasp of social media. Excellent communication and presentation skills Willing to learn and adapt to new media Currently in Chennai or must be willing to relocate to Chennai
