JOB DESCRIPTION:
Head of Department - Business Development
Role Objective:
This role is responsible for planning and operationalizing retail development for Paradise by conducting thorough business potential analysis, opportunity identification and doing suitable property acquisitions throughout the entire geography to increase the reach of the restaurants as per the business expansion strategy of the organization.

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Reportees: Regional BD Leads
Aligns With Function Heads of all like Operations, Finance & Accounts, Purchase, Stores, IT and Projects.

Location: Hyderabad
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- To plan and develop a strategy for the retail development function for the year in accordance with the business expansion plans of the organization.
- To map the future outlets and by leading diversification into outlets, formats, cities, markets, etc. by conducting market research on suitable cities, population, and other demographic aspects and to increase the companys touch points through various outlets across geographies, locations, etc.
- To understand business viability, potential, opportunity, ROI, investments, etc. while mapping a territory, area, city, or a region for the purpose of increasing the no. of outlets which can get the best potential in terms of catchment area, visibility, footfall, etc. and to drive profitability in the process of expansion.
- To be accountable for the business viability and business plan of any new site proposal to management.
- To ensure a robust pipeline development in line with the growth plans of the organization.
- To ensure relationship management with all landlords and developers.
- To manage the regional teams to make property acquisitions and understand viability in terms of commercials, business viability, technical viability (equipment and material accessibility) due diligence, contract agreement and legalities.
- To work with the Project construction team and act as the bridge between them for development of the site and landlord for the purpose of making the site ready for operations by being the front face for the developer in front of the landlord.
Requirements:
- Any Graduate / post-graduate with a minimum of 3-5 yrs of experience in the same or a regional lead role.
- Prior team handling experience of 2-4 years is a must.
