PanIIT Alumni Reach for India (PARFI) Foundation, a not-for-profit section-8 social enterprise, is committed to execute and scale self-sustainable business models that enhance incomes of the underprivileged sections. IIT/ISB/IIM alumni along with other domain experts run the organization.

While corporates work towards a one-dimensional goal of profit maximization, PARFI sees itself as a new breed of social enterprise that is striving to work at a more challenging curve wherein the idea is to do a dual optimization - maximizing social returns while ensuring profits are not sacrificed completely.

We, at PanIIT Alumni Foundation, are incepting and institutionalizing IITian spirit through Residential Kaushal Colleges, Residential Skill Gurukuls and Kaushal Vidya Academy to build India's first best-in-class, a public-vocational-education system that is economically viable.

The following are indicative deliverables :

1. Develop overall training, learning and living infrastructure set up plan for Gurukuls and Kaushal Colleges of Prejha Foundation.

2. Liaise with the relevant internal stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements (including technical specifications) for procurement of material items and services, provide suggestions and finalize.

3. Prepare RFPs and tender documents for vendor selection for procurement of material items and services, ensuring that the identified requirements are accurately captured and the documents adhere to the Procurement policy of the organization.

4. Lead / participate in negotiations with external parties (contractors, vendors etc.) concerning price, quality and delivery conditions for material items and services, providing inputs and ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.

5. Draft and finalize contracts and agreements in coordination with relevant internal parties (like Legal, Finance etc.) in line with the board approved procurement policy and negotiated terms and conditions.

6. Monitor and manage changes / additions required in own contracts and agreements by liaising with the concerned vendor.

7. Maintain relationships with vendors and provide the required support to vendors for carrying out the assigned procurement activities.

8. Monitor performance of vendors and third-party service providers within own area and highlight in case of sub-optimal performance.

9. Ensure compliance of procurement activities with the Board approved policy, internal and external regulations, standards and procedures.

10. Compile and ensure adherence to best practices for procurement.

11. Perform spend analysis for various categories and identify sourcing opportunities.

12. Drives cost savings and risk mitigation in sourcing related activities.

13. Take Charge of the project setup for the new ventures initiated by Prejha Foundation utilizing technical skills and expertise.
