The candidate will help the team with building automated algorithms, end-to-end data products and business insights. The role requires high technical aptitude and problem solving abilities, motivation, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for data discovery, analytics and data visualization.
What you will do:
- Understand and Model User Behavior to drive key decisions that improve the OYO product experience
- Be hands-on in Data Modelling and Big data analysis
- Passionate about turning raw data into meaningful insights that help shape and prioritize business plans
- Determine metrics to measure and devise measurement dashboards to evaluate the impact and efficiency of new products and business processes
- Create, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models to assist and optimize city-level and regional operations
What you must have:
- BA/ BS in Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or other quantitative focus
- Have worked in a major Big Data Analytics firm for 1-2 years, is hands-on in terms of OR who has worked in a major firm specializing in Data Mining and Analysis
- Data Based Modelling and Solution-ing - excellent Excel/data management skills is a huge plus
- A go-getter attitude who will not give up.

- Demonstrated programming skills in relevant languages, including R, Python, SQL
- Extensive background in data mining, dashboard creation and statistical analysis with big data
