Title: Deputy Manager - Capex Location: Gurgaon Duties and Responsibilities: - Continuous monitoring of changing business requirements through regular interaction with stakeholders - Overall vendor development and supplier relationship management to ensure cost effective supply for business needs - Understand the product brief from design team, coordinate with the vendors and the design team for new product development as per drawings/designs shared by design team - Be the link between the design, procurement and supply chain. Coordinate with the relevant stakeholders (Design, Launch, Ops and SC) in the product development stage to the product roll out stage - Set the ideal product usage scenario, quality parameters and life-cycle of products - Use first principles and bottom costing to come up with ideal costs of the products. - Ensure on time supplier Agreements with service providers and their evaluation. - Monitor and analyze supplier performances, developing alternate suppliers based on analysis - Ensure quality through regular visits at the property locations - Regular followup with PDI &amp; IQC vendor to track vendor performance and ensure quality of products - Identify cost savings opportunities through value engineering and volume consolidation - Maintaining a good rapport with the vendors to ensure our sampling gets priority in their production schedules and helping vendors meet our expectations in terms of product development, cost quality and TAT Required skills and experience: - Collaborative working - Customer (internal and external) focused approach - Structured thinking, Problem solving and 1 st principle thinking - Data based decision making - Stakeholder management - MS excel, MS office Eligibility - Experience in Operations, Procurement, Program Management is desirable
