Job Description :
- Perform proper payroll accounting, make payroll related entries and accuracy for all payroll transactions, benefits, and accruals.
- Timely payouts & recording of transactions related to payroll (i.e. On/Off role, Consultants / Vendors etc)
- Quarterly reconciliations of GL's related to Payroll (i.e. On/Off role, Consultants / Vendors etc)
- Knowledge of GST, TDS and applicable tax on payroll payouts
- Prepare audit schedules & assists/coordinates audit of accounting statements/reports and work with any inquiries by auditors for areas of responsibility pertaining to Payroll.
- Prepare payroll schedules for Core Faculty based on class registration information
- Responsible for ensuring that federal and state payroll reports (monthly, quarterly and annually) are filed timely and accurately, coordinating with ADP as necessary
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Key Requirements :
- Experience required Min 4 years under Payroll accountant or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of MS office, especially excel
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- Ability to work in a high paced environment and manage stress with work under pressure, while multitasking when meeting deadlines.
