About Oye Rickshaw! OYE! is a shared electric micro-mobility service for the masses. We connect people with public transportation &amp; demand hubs, and provide an ecosystem for drivers. The company was founded in 2017 and has been funded by investors - Matrix Partners, Hero Family, Chiratae (IDG) Ventures, Xiaomi, Falcon Edge Capital among others. Our latest venture is in the space of energy services - we are setting up a distributed lithium-ion battery swap network for supporting e-rickshaw based mass micro-mobility. Your Role at Oye Rickshaw! - Be fully responsible for the quality assurance of products on-boarded as part of Energy Services - Lithium-ion batteries, Charging stations etc. - Establish Quality Gateways for Oye's hardware products - both in the incoming and in-field stage. - Engage deeply with Contract Manufacturing Partners to set up quality criterions - comprising incoming, in-line and outgoing quality processes. - Lead sign off on quality processes and product quality at end of product development process by carrying out PPAP and equivalent. - Ensure strict adherence to established quality parameters by the vendor partners, and complete documentation around the same. Plan and lead routine and in-situ quality assurance tests. - Lead Root Source and Root Cause Analysis (RSA and RCA) for failure of field products. Engage with vendors to ensure successful implementation of warranty related activities. Engage with the service/product/ops team to lead implementation of short term containment and corrective actions. - Leading COP and other quality regulatory audits. - Deploy Quality Management Systems What we think you need for success : - Fluency in tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance and deep familiarity with relevant regulatory standards. - High degree of analytical mindset&nbsp; - Excellent data collection/analysis skills to derive insights. - Superb communication skills - since this is an external facing role. Required skills and qualifications:&nbsp; - 3-5 years of experience in hardware quality assurance functions in the EV/ solar/ automotive/ healthcare/Aerospace industries. High velocity Startup experience is a plus. - You have an Engineering Degree. MS is preferred.
