Job Description

Reporting directly into Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

Accountable for VAT compliance of the organization & group companies.

Work as part of the VAT compliance team in India & Tax project team members outside of India, on VAT compliance & projects for all or some of the countries (as assigned to him/her) and on internal quality improvements.

Internal and External Audit support and data analysis as required - including Tax audits by respective Tax Auth. SOX testing, internal audits & statutory/financial audits.

Liaise with other partner functions in the organization i.e. Finance, Order Management, Business Logistics, Trade etc. and available as a point of contact on VAT related matters, to understands how their decisions impact the indirect tax area and vice versa.

Analysis and support the implementation of changes to the VAT legislations in Europe, including monitoring of legislative changes, proactive communication and advice of the consequences to partners functions &

Provide Indirect Tax Advice on complicated business models and supply chain structures,, requiring understanding and consulting on the compliance impacts of supply chain changes, M&As PAN India
