We're backed by one of the largest global funds based in the Valley, Omidyar Network; one of the big Indian power-houses, JSW, and legendary Angel investor K Ganesh.  Responsibilities:   Overcart has a very complex operational back-end, and is looking for a VP, Operations to come in and scale the operations. We're looking for someone who can not only implement processes, but also improve and scale the existing ones. This requires ability to manage complexity, as each client requires a different solution - as well as create an operational system that can manage fluctuations in volume. It is a challenging operational role.   - Design operational processes for scale - from quality control to logistics to inventory & warehouse management   - Implement all the processes - including integration with technology   - Talent management for operations   - Analyze and continuously improve operational processes   - Present operational metrics and improvements to senior management   - Build an effective yet fun culture in operations   Requirements:   - Willingness to work in a start-up (early stage)   - Patience Essential - Sense of Humour a Bonus!   - Minimum 7 Years Work Experience in an Operations Role   - Experience in Manufacturing Line / eCommerce Preferred   - Hungry to make a difference and succeed   What's in it for you:   If you are able to thrive in a chaotic and ambiguous environment, the paybacks are disproportionately rewarding.
