We- re backed by one of the largest global funds based in the Valley, Omidyar Network; one of the big Indian power-houses, JSW, and legendary Angel investor K Ganesh.   Role:   The HR Business Partner is responsible for partnering with business and would be responsible for building a strong HR relationship with stakeholders, building mechanisms to drive performance management, hire best talent, engagement and development, compliance of HR practices and guidelines.   Key Responsibilities:  - Partner with your clients to roll out all key people processes (performance management, compensation, benefits, development programs, etc).  - Provide guidance and input on workforce planning, succession planning, compensation, benchmarking, etc.  - Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.  - Define review and feedback mechanism within the team to ensure effective communication flows  - Serve as an escalation point for complex associate relations issues and provide guidance and intervention, as needed to resolve associate grievances.  - Ensure team is maintaining personnel information in all appropriate systems; monitor actual headcount, new hires, attrition vs. plan; report on capacity, chargeability, and availability; analyze trends and make recommendations and follow through with actions.  - Create effective analytical tools, reports & maintaining data to analyse employee information.  - Source, build and maintain candidate pipelines to yield high quality candidates for short and long term hiring needs.  Experience Required:  - A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant HRBP, ideally supporting technology and product teams.  - Strong understanding of HR programs including compensation, performance management, and leadership development.  - Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on HR matters.  - Tenacity and ability to build processes from scratch are imperative.  - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator including excellent presentation skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities.  - Must be able to travel, including short-term assignments based upon business requirements.  - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.  What's in it for you -   If you are able to thrive in a chaotic and ambiguous environment, the paybacks are disproportionately rewarding.
