Accounts & Finance Manager for a fast-growing global platform business.

Outsized is a fast-growing consulting platform focused on disrupting a $250bn global market for consulting services. It's well-funded; backed by CEOs from leading institutions in India, UK, and Africa and managed by a founding team with background from private equity, consulting, innovation and financial services. Since launching in 2015, the business has delivered strong performance and is already working with blue chip clients such as Bharti Axa, DHFL, BCG, PwC, and Shriram. We have offices in Mumbai, London, and Cape Town and fast approaching 20 FTEs.

Due to our growth (2018 saw revenues grow 4x) we are now looking for a Financial Analyst to be responsible for the day-to-day finance-related tasks such as invoicing, forecasts and reporting. The opportunity is ideal for a Finance graduate with 1-4 years prior work experience in a finance team, now looking for more responsibilities in a fast-moving, international and entrepreneurial environment.

What we do

Outsized has built a marketplace of the best boutique firms and specialist freelancers that allows us to bring together global supply and demand for skills and expertise with a particular focus on emerging market projects. Through a unique combination of machine learning matching technology and human curation, we match complex requirements from our clients and match them to the best consultants. This means clients no longer need to default to the biggest (perceived - safe- ) consulting brands where the project fit isn- t optimal or carry out a risky and time-consuming word of mouth searches. We provide the best options for our clients every time, based on specific, often complex, requirements.

In addition to matching clients with the best options, we support project scoping and offer a project oversight service to ensure successful deliverables.

The role

You will be responsible, supported by and reporting to our CEO, for a wide range of finance-related tasks.

Key tasks include:

- Monthly financial reporting for India, UK, and South Africa

- Monthly KPI reports, bringing together financial and sales pipeline data

- P&L and cash flow forecasts

- Invoicing and payments

- TDS and GST filing

- Remittance related compliance

- Coordination with our bank for various matters

- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

- Continued improvements to our forecasting tools and methodologies

Who we are looking for

The role is suitable for a recent Finance graduate with 1-4 years prior work experience in a finance team, now looking for more responsibilities in a fast-moving, international and entrepreneurial environment.

- Graduate with a Finance/ Accounting background

- 1-4 year's experience in a similar finance role

- Excited about joining an entrepreneurial, fast-moving international team

- Excellent Excel skills a requirement, good PowerPoint skills an added bonus

- Fluency in spoken and written English essential (role reporting to our London-based global CEO)
