Outline India - Business Development Manager

OUTLINE India is about - Social impact through Data- . We work in the development sector and focus on providing on ground services.

- While our focus is primary research i.e. data collection, we also engage in providing other bundled services such as, survey tool designing, conducting trainings and workshops, monitoring and evaluation and conducting impact assessments together with research and policy advisory services across India.

- We are looking to solve the first mile problem facing researchers, philanthropists, impact investors, not-for-profits, CSR arms of corporates and the Government by catering to their data needs.

- Our clientele spans research institutes, Universities, PhD students, NGOs, donor agencies, government departments and niche corporate organizations.

- The Business Development Manager will engage in developing strategies for growth, exploring project opportunities with existing clients and actively look for and pitch to new clients.

- We are looking for someone who is interested in working with a growing social enterprise and is keen on contributing to its growth.

- Interest in development sector and research is crucial.

The job role focuses on :

- Understanding the industry, being up-to-date with the field of developmental research and market trends and identify opportunities for growth and diversification. Interest in development sector/social sector research is crucial

- Locating opportunities for collaboration with potential partners, identifying their needs and setting path for discussions.

- Attending conferences, networking events and pitching the firm to potential clients/collaborators

- Provide support to clients during initial phases of engagement and maintain business relations through necessary follow ups.

- Develop collaterals, presentations and case studies for organization services.

- Working with the team to create and implement unique marketing strategies.

- Head development marketing documents, case studies and campaigns.

Qualifications :

Required Education : Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management or a related field.

Other Requirements :

- 3-5 years experience in business development, sales or marketing.

- Experience in development sector is mandatory.

- A degree or equivalent qualification is recommended, but a proven background in business development may be sufficient.

- Strong presentation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to cold call potential clients with confidence are key for a successful Business developer.

Location : Gurgaon (10 minutes from Huda City Centre metro station

Salary Range: 7 - 14 LPA
