Outgrow - Lead - Information Technology (6-8 yrs)

The Information Technology (IT) Lead's key accountabilities are:

- Input to critical organizational level decisions, as part of the key staff. This includes the annual strategic/operating plans and budgets for the organization, in line with the Agency goals.

- Manage daily operations of the IT systems at the Agency level and Service Area Centers (SACs)/Community Centers (CCs). Provide software support to Agency staff, based on CI Information Technology policy/guidelines.

- Suggest, implement, and drive adherence to IT policy and best practices for the Agency.

- Responsible for all tasks related to the installation, training, and maintenance of software implemented at the Agency.

- Ensure transparency, credibility, and value for money in equipment and systems purchases, while enabling fulfillment/delivery timelines of IT projects across the Agency.

- Ensure quality and timely reporting as per Agency requirements.

- Manage and nurture critical stakeholder engagements (internal and external) that support effective implementation of IT Solutions.

- Comply with and ensure adherence to the agency's policies, safety and security protocols and child safeguarding norms and guidelines by self as well all stakeholders both internal and external.

C. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Business Partnering and Technical Support

- Provide technical support to the Agency Director, Operations Manager and other Key Staff members, to develop annual IT work plans and realistic cost-effective budgets, in line with Agency needs and guidelines, to support field and other Agency interventions.

- Manage all internal stakeholder relationships effectively and work closely with other Key Staff to identify and nurture necessary vendors and other external stakeholders to achieve necessary IT goals.

- Install and upgrade all IT systems in alignment with approved annual plans, priorities, policies, procedures, and standards.

- Oversee and/or perform reliable and consistent day-to-day network support and maintenance of all IT systems across the Agency.

- Facilitate assigning user IDs/rights, passwords, directories, folder, and permission/shares throughout the Agency.

- Install/oversee installing and configuration of network server switches.

- Monitor, evaluate and resolve all IT issues if doable within their level; escalate issues to RTSC as appropriate and for ensuring continued systems integrity and reliability.

- Provide technical support during software testing and provide technical input and recommendations to RTSC to ensure business continuity.

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project implementation, including a critical assessment, reflection as well as recommendations for improvements.

- Ensure user-centric continues improvement of IT processes and systems.

b. Project Management and Capacity Building:

- Manage the execution of IT projects and conduct training and capacity building for all Agency staff on systems originating from such implementations.

- Monitor and evaluate IT projects.

- Formulate and/or implement department budget guidelines provided by the Region and Head Office. Monitor variances and collaborate with Finance to address accordingly.

- Gather software requirements and submit proposals to the RTSC.

- Understand organization changes and priorities, assess the impact and recommend enhancements in the IT systems as deemed relevant.

- Provide orientation to new staff on IT policies and procedures.

- Develops user manuals for programs/systems/applications developed for staff use.

- Plans and/or conducts user training to staff on anything related to information and technology.

c. Data Management and Security:

- Develop or implement customized databases to improve workflow and for streamlined procedures as needed by the users with approval of the Regional Office.

- Ensure that there is a high level of accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of data.

- Develop and/ or implement IT security plans which include disaster recovery and back- up procedures and control structures.

- Maintain security, integrity, confidentiality and protection of all IT computers, systems, databases, etc. as well as all beneficiary information/data.

D. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KEY SKILLS:

- Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science any other relevant discipline, with experience in an individual contributor role.

- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.

- Expertise in data center management and data governance.

- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.

- Possess good interpersonal skills with the proven ability to deal tactfully and build effective relationships with people across levels, both internally and externally.

- Strong verbal and written communication as well as documentation and reporting skills in English.

- Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities timelines through effective scheduling and time management.

- Demonstrated sound judgement as well as creative and technical problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus.

Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel around covered geographic areas most of the time.
