FUNCTIONAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
- Devise strategy and initiatives to increase sales of organization products and maximize market share by Creating brand visibility & awareness among the right target costumers, Increase sell-out and improve brand visibility/recall.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trade Marketing:
- Design, execute and monitor trade marketing strategies (BTL) and supervise all promotional activities (schemes etc.) to achieve sales objectives.
- Ensure alignment of the trade marketing strategies with the Sales and Marketing objectives.
- Work closely with ZM/Business Head to ensure alignment & execution of the marketing strategy in their respective regions.
- Plan ground level activities like road shows, exhibitions, dealer meets, activities at shop front to create customer foot fall.
- Evaluate effectiveness of trade marketing activities by channel & create evaluation database
- Conduct market research analysis on consumer behavior and measure the impact of trade marketing strategies implemented.
- Responsible for execution & implementation of consumer finance schemes
Driving Visibility Across Channels:
- Design visibility plan across all channels
- Benchmark CMI position in the retail market w.r.t. visibility as compared to competition and constantly seek ways to innovate in the area
- Responsible for tracking & analyzing the monthly stock display of CMI & competition across various channel at different outlets in the country
- Sharing the analysis with the sales head to gauge gaps and create outlet wise action plan
- Arranging Product Display Stands, allocation and dispatch monitoring
Managing Trade Spends:
- Devise the trade marketing budget as per the sales plan for all CMI branches.
- Plan Trade Schemes in line with the Market share objectives, Market challenges & Opportunities, Competition activity etc.
- Review and manage the trade spends within the allocated budget,
- Review budget variances
Vendor Management:
Responsible for Vendor selection, Vendor Negotiation, Vendor appointment and execution for trade marketing activities.
ISD/RSO Management:
- Recommend ISD/RSO manpower plan in line with the sales plan.
- Responsible for hiring/selection/appraisal/training/ incentives structure , R&R etc. of ISD/RSO
- Responsible for ensuring ISD Productivity as per defined targets.
Team Management - Tracking & enhancing team effectiveness through regular review.
