Take complete ownership of all activities related to selling on various marketplaces/portals (Amazon, Flipkart etc) in India. The person would be leading our marketplace sales business and would report directly to the Director.
- Working with the management on setting the strategic direction and vision for the marketplace business.
- Owning and growing P&L for all marketplace platforms.
- Manage order fulfilment, inventory, category management & customer service on a daily basis.
- Identify new opportunities overall via market research and competitor analysis.
- Planning & executing promotions/activities covering online visibility.
- Executing on and identifying opportunities to improve sales via :
a. Content
b. In Marketplace Marketing (top, middle, bottom of the funnel)
c. Marketplace SEO
d. Deals/Campaigns
e. Inventory
f. New Product Launches
g. Partnerships
h. Any other avenue.
Candidate Requirement
- Hands on for ensuring daily execution.
- Tracking bottom-line drivers across portals.
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure day to day execution.
- Strong knowledge of online eCommerce platforms across India.
- Ability to analyse data & sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
- Ability to work with ambiguity and in an entrepreneurial environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing marketplaces
- Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Immediate joining preferred
