Key Responsibilities: (indicative list and not limited to the following) Handling Internal & Statutory Audits: 1. Implement best audit and Business practices in line with applicable Internal Audit Statements. 2. Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls. 3. Develop, implement, and maintain Internal Audit policies and procedures in accordance with local practice. 4. Compile and implement the Annual Internal Audit plan. 5. Set up Internal Control. 6. Monitor the timely implementation of the management actions recommended in the audit reports and Identify key areas of risk within the organization and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks. 7. Review the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial information and other disclosures provided to management. 8. Effective written and verbal communication with subordinates, peers and supervisor 9. Work with External Auditors as required, including facilitating interactions and documentation requests. 10. Assist with compliance framework assessments including, but not limited to NYDFS,PCI DSS, SOC, SOX, GLBA, CIS, MTL and HIPAA 11. Coordinates audit activities with customers workload and schedule. 12. Maintains the Internal Audit manual and leads updates to audit templates. 13. Conducting investigations on irregularities and errors seen during the Audit. 14. Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures. 15. Provide regular and predictable attendance considering any rights to leaves provided by law or company policy. 16. Perform all essential job functions without posing a direct threat of harm to yourself or others. Tax Planning and Compliance: - Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance. - Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position. - Coordinate and manage the preparation of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Skills and Competencies: 1. Should have Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in Internal Auditing 2. Well-versed with MS Office particularly MS Excel and MS Word 3. Good Knowledge of Direct & Indirect Taxes. (TDS, GST, Assessments, etc.) 4. Ability to challenge the information provided by the auditee department /client. 5. Strong analytical skills 6. Should understand internal audit and its reporting requirements. 7. Good communication skills, 8. Commitment towards meeting deadlines 9. Experience on ERP working
