Orios - VP - Investments

There is an opening for the position of Vice President, Investments (Software) at Orios Venture Partners.

About Orios:

Orios is a well regarded early stage Venture Capital fund primary investing in high growth Technology startups: software, internet & mobile. Some of the fund's recent investments include Ziffi.com, Sapience, PrettySecrets.com, Snaplion and IntelligenceNode. The fund is founded by Rehan Yar Khan, recognised as one of India's leading early stage investors with past investments in Druva, OlaCabs, Vuclip, Unbxd and several other stellar companies.

Role:

- You will lead the Software Investments Team at Orios. The Software Investments Team is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, securing and developing Orios' software products portfolio.

- The key responsibilities of the Team include deal sourcing, sector research, evaluating new opportunities, closing deals (term sheet & negotiations) and supporting portfolio companies (strategy, sales, introductions, HR etc).

- You will report directly to the Managing Partner of the fund.

KRA's :

- You must have around 12+ years of prior experience in a relevant industry / startup along with a strong academic background (Engineering from a premier institution).

- You must have excellent leadership skills, communication skills, analytical skills, deep understanding of the industry and a hands-on style of functioning.

- You must have a previous experience of managing a team of atleast 7+ people.

Remuneration: The fund will offer a Fixed Component + Carry Component
