Company Profile -

Orios Venture Partners is a technology venture capital fund currently investing from our Fund III, with focus investments across consumer and B2B for the Indian market. We are 3 partners and a VP who leads investments.

Some of our well-known investments are Pharmeasy, Country Delight, BeatO, GoMechanic, Zupee, Nazara, Mobikwik & Ixigo

The fund's founding team are experienced investors since 2008, and pre Orios investments include OlaCabs, Druva, Faballey, Box8, Unbxd and Jigsee.

We are well known for trend spotting and our maxim is #BackingMisfits.

Our strategy is to invest in selected companies and work closely with them. As a consequence, each investment lead works with no more than 4 to 6 companies at a time.

The Role -

Orios is looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager - Client Relationship for our Investor Relations team to join us in Mumbai. The role includes:

Primary Responsibilities -

1. Engaging with all start-ups in portfolio to receive quarterly updates.

2. Reports to be created Quarterly/ Annual Report / Semi Annual Report for all Funds.

3. Regulatory alignment (SEBI/ PPM/CA/ ILPA).

4. Client Relationship - Onboarding / Engagement/ Discussions/ Ongoing Investor Engagement /Query Resolutions / Explanations of statements/ taxes etc.

5. Documentation

6. DDQ / Fund Raise Support Documentation / PPM Query

7. Data room management and updation

8. Internal Coordination with various stakeholders

Secondary Responsibilities -

1. Partner's portfolio start-ups support and ongoing activities (reporting/ engagement/updation/etc.)

2. Fund Raise support with Existing and New Investors

3. Engaging with private wealth managers/ distributors/ product teams for queries/commercials etc.

Requirements, Attributes and Experience -

Qualification - CA/Post Graduate

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Skills -

- Required 5+ years of prior relationship management experience in investment banking, private banking, private equity, or venture capital.

- 1+ year of experience in VC is preferred

- Client onboarding experience is must

- High attention to detail, thorough, organized and self-motivated

- Strong understanding of financial reporting and ability to analyse fund performance

- Excellent deck design and data visualization skills

- Ability to multitask between projects and deliverables and maintain a high level of accountability

- Comfortable with working in an unstructured, cross-culture, global environment with high expectations

- Ambitious, curious, passionate about start-up culture, venture capital and technology
