Orios - Senior Investment Role

We have an opening for a Senior Investments Role with Orios Venture Partners.

Orios is a well regarded early stage Venture Capital fund primary investing in high growth Technology startups: software, internet & mobile. The fund is founded by Rehan Yar Khan, recognised as one of India's leading early stage investors with past investments in Druva, OlaCabs, Jigsee (Vuclip), Unbxd and several other stellar companies. Some of the fund's recent investments include Ziffi, Zapstitch, PrettySecrets, Taskbob and IntelligenceNode.

About the role:

You will be a part of the investment team responsible for consumer internet opportunities.

The role would require you to lead specific sub-verticals - research, build thesis, source and evaluate new investment opportunities and close transactions. You will typically be working with stellar entrepreneurs in cutting edge ideas in very large spaces.

You will also be required to lead these investments post closing, leveraging the various resources available at the fund and via the funds wide network. You will work closely with entrepreneurs to help make their business a success. Internally you will work with the Managing Partner of the fund.

Key requirements:

You must have around 8+ years of prior experience in a relevant industry / startup along with a strong academic background (Engineering from a premier institution). You must have excellent leadership skills, communication skills, analytical skills, deep understanding of the industry and a hands-on style of functioning.

Remuneration: The fund will offer a Fixed Component + Carry Component.
