Orios is a well-regarded early stage Venture Capital fund primary investing in high growth Consumer Technology startups: software, internet & mobile. The fund's Managing Partners is Rehan Yar Khan who has been India equity investors since 2008 in close to 30 companies including OlaCabs, Micromax, Druva,, Jigsee (VuClip), Unbxd and others.

About the role :

We are looking for an experienced talent acquisition professional to work closely with our portfolio companies and assist in building A-Class teams thereby focus on adding value to their business.

Key Focus Area's :

- Partner with portfolio companies to get a clear view on their strategic and financial objectives and hiring needs and work closely to assist in building manpower strategy.

- Devise and carry out a targeted talent research strategy and share intelligence with various portfolio entrepreneurs.

- Research into Portfolio Company and its competitors and develop market insights capability in-house.

- Assist portfolio's in developing Campus strategy, advise on employer branding, temp staffing needs and other permanent hiring requirements.

- Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications across portfolios.

- Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels and assist in hiring needs.

- Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility.

- Conduct confidential interviews, follow-up references and check credits.

- Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries.

- Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion.

- Follow up with portfolio's and assist with the candidate's transition and onboarding process.

- Network and build long-lasting client relationships.

- Research and develop recruiting leads.

Requirements :

- Proven talent acquisition experience with at least 2-4 years of exposure in recruiting for early stage consumer technology start-ups. (Executive Search / Recruiting Firm / In-house HR experience in a start-up)

- Deep understanding of recruitment processes and challenges associated to recruiting in Start-up ecosystem.

- Strong knowledge of candidates selection methods

- Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods

- Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices)

- Client focus along with relationship building skills

- Business acumen and market insight.

- Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills.

- Integrity and confidentiality

- Master's in Human Resources preferably from Tier 1 B School.

EXPERIENCE IN RECRUITING FOR TECHNOLOGY START-UPS IS MANDATORY. STRONG EXPOSURE OF HIRING TECHNOLOGY, PRODUCT, DESIGN is ADDED ADVANTAGE. Please do not apply if the experience does not match this criteria.
