Job Description:

Position / Title: Organizational Development Specialist

Role Profile:

- The Organizational Development Specialist formulates OD strategies; assists with the design, development and roll-out of organization development projects and programs and helps ensure the successful implementation of such projects and assignments.

- The OD Specialist assists in the development and implementation of staffing plans, and the development and performance management training programs and often incorporating behavioral science to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.

- O.D. Specialist is also is responsible for developing and implementing programs that align workforce with key business strategies and initiatives, to increase efficiency, strengthen employee knowledge and abilities, improve leadership and maintain the overall health.

Key Responsibilities & accountabilities:

- Assist in administration of various Organizational Development plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures and participates in developing department goals and objectives.

- In collaboration with GM, Admin & HR, assesses needs, plans, and implements appropriate strategies, and evaluate organization-wide initiatives, such as: leadership development; service excellence; employee engagement and culture enhancement.

- Evaluates the performance of the organization personnel and Administrative Coordinator for OD.

- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals, recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

- Assists in performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

- Ensures that job descriptions are updated.

- Maintain Career Tracking Program.

- Maintain a system for tracking and reporting training participation in order to provide statistical data and monitor individual progress toward training goals.

- Responsible for maintaining a general awareness of Human Resources Transformation.

- Responsible for ensuring employees in their respective functional areas have adequate

- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

- Identify data collection tools, data sources, benchmarks, and performance targets.

- Develop methods of measuring if performance management aligns with organizational goals.

- Recommend training and development systems.

Educational & Competencies requirements:

- A degree in industrial / Organizational psychology or related field from a reputable University

- Minimum 5-7 years in a similar position (not counting previous work experience)

- Strong in Performance Management Systems from development to Implementation.

- Experience in implementation of talent and succession planning and management

- Strong Analytical.

- Strong Communication Skills.

- Experience in organization planning to align organization to objectives and strategy

- Measurement of the impact of development programs.
