Position : Business Head - Agriculture

Department : Agriculture Business

Educational Qualification : BSc/MSc in Agriculture; MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing/Operations

Experience : Minimum 10 years in driving top line and bottom line growth in Agri input business (preferably from the bio-pesticides, bio-fertiliser sectors). Any candidate who has worked in the Rice sector will be strongly preferred.

Skills : A strong leader capable of driving a team of diverse people spanning across Northern, Western and Southern India. Adept in setting business processes, drive revenue growth, manage team performance, build business strategies. Additionally, a good connect with dealers and distributors dealing in sales and marketing of Agri input products across India.

Key Responsibilities : The incumbent will be responsible for

a. Business process design and implementation to ensure optimum resource utilisation, maximising opportunities and leveraging the Organisation's technical strength to expand market.

b. Business automation through AI, allied applications to increase resource efficiency and process accuracy.

c. Drive Revenue growth by market analysis, competition analysis, product SWOT, sales strategies, new market expansion etc. Provide inputs to R&D reg new product development depending on market behavior.

d. Design and implement business strategy by exploring various avenues of growth. Optimise the delear network growth, Govt tenders, other institutional channels, contract farming, e-commerce business

e. Design and implement robust online and offline marketing strategies for the business

e. Motivate, set goals, monitor performance for the team with robust review mechanisms

f. Help with channel partner development - as and when required.

g. Custodian of all statutory compliances and other regulatory bodies liaison related to the Agri business
